QATAR: Doha gladly takes on responsibility as 2010 Arab Capital of Culture

Qatar says it gladly takes on the responsibility of Arab Capital of Culture, with events arranged throughout the year.
Selected by UNESCO to be this year's Arab Capital of Culture, Doha is celebrating with over 70 events in just the first quarter of the year.
Qatar is expected to be a global cultural hub throughout 2010 with a number of performances, exhibitions and films to showcase art and culture in the Arab world.
