BROMLEY: "And it's two furlongs to go and it's Vitiges in the lead and Relkino having a battle royal. It's Vitiges on the far side and Relkino, Empery's in third place then comes Oats and Wollow has a lot to do and he's not making up much ground at the moment and it's Relkino that hits the front from Empery and Lester Piggott, Vitiges comes next and Wollow is beaten. They have 150 yards to go and Empery comes sailing through. Lester Piggott is going to beat Steve Donoghue's record. Empery for France. Empery wins the Derby. Relkino is second, Oats is third then comes Hawkesberry."
