STORY: Nischal Narayanam looks like any other schoolboy, but his
prowess in memorizing, makes him no less than a child prodigy.

The eleven-years-old from India's southern Hyderabad has recently set
a new record by memorizing 225 random objects in only 12.07 minutes.

During a demonstration of his feat, Narayanam was blindfolded and 225
random objects were lined up. As he recalled the objects, they were
crossed out from the list and removed from the row.

Narayanam's performance was judged by 15 judges from different fields.

He was not only able to recall all 225 random objects but also
remembered the numbers assigned to them.

Narayanam is staking claim for a world record as he has also broken
his own teacher's record, who made a name for himself in the Guinness
Book of World records by memorizing 200 objects, last year.

After accomplishing the mammoth task, Nischal expressed his happiness
over the feat.

"I feel very happy because from one year I have been struggling for
getting into this Guinness book and today I broke the record so I am
feeling very happy," said Nishcal Narayanam.

His teacher Jayasimha Ravirala claims he is not at all jealous but
feels proud to have taught Narayanam.

"Today Master Nischal, who is all of 11-years old has broken my record
and he had remembered 225 objects. Now I only want to tell everyone
that today master Nischal, made everyone of us proud, not only us, but
the entire country by getting into the Guinness Book of world records,
but most important thing is that anybody and everybody can do it.
Master Nischal can act as a role model, icon and guide for everyone,
if master Nischal can do, I too can do," said Jayasimha Ravirala,
Narayanam's teacher.

Narayanam's teacher believes he can be a role model for others and
that everyone can do the same if they learn to tap their minds.
