If they are not speeding up then they are not slowing down either, the latest problem for Toyota is the brakes on its new Prius hybrid cars. There are over six and half thousand in Britain and a quarter of a million worldwide - their recall is expected later in February 2010. The fault is being blamed on a software fault which is supposed to manage the braking system.
