Story:

Newly released figures show that young people are being hit particularly hard by the recession. 835,000 18-24-year-olds are in neither work nor training which is an increase of more than 100,000 compared to 2008. Britain's troubled economy is being blamed for the jump in school and university leavers unable to find jobs. Chancellor of the Exchequer Alistair Darling MP has made assurances that the government is prioritising the lost generation.
