Businesses and shops on Kilburn High Road have been hit hard by the recession and have been battling the credit crunch. Help has arrived in the form of masterclasses on how to beat the recession. If the scheme is a success, it could be rolled out across the borough of Camden. More than two thirds of London's small and medium businesses said the recession had affected them, which is up from just under half last October. 60 per cent said they would not be confident about starting a business in the current climate. But Londoners are not giving up: 60 per cent said they plan to grow their business over the next year. Read more
