Workers from the car parts firm Visteon have staged a sit in at three factories in protest over losing their jobs. The action began in Belfast, where the Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams addressed workers. Workers claim the company's former owner and main customer, Ford, had promised redundancy contracts which they now want to see honoured.
