The Queen's Golden Jubilee tour arrived in London this morning for the first of six visits to the capital's East End. The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh were greeted by cheering crowds and a ten foot mechanical elephant as they arrived in East Ham. They launched a festival organised by the local Asian Community accompanied by the sounds of Indian music. The Queen will later present seven Jubilee Awards to outstanding youngsters.
