The Queen's taken her chances on the country's chaotic rail network - she's taken the train to Newcastle. It wasn't any old train - it was the royal train, so it was probably on time. In Newcastle she visited the newly refurbished railway station and met the chairman of Railtrack. Railtrack says no other services were disrupted by the visit.
