"There's an air of desperation and people really want to do good to by themselves and their families and many of the victims that come to HAART for the victims assistance program end up talking about how initially they got a deal and the deal was exactly what they wanted, and it was only in the implementation when they actually went to that place and their papers were taken, and they had to live out the contract for the two years or whatever it was that they found out that there was actually sexual exploitation going on, rape and all sorts of things that they hadn't bargained for in the beginning."

"Kenya is actually a transit point, it is a hub, it is a centre, so even if we are not directly doing it, even if it's not the agents directly doing it from the ground here, there are countries that don' t fly directly to Saudi Arabia for example, Ethiopia, I THINK, I believe, so they have their flights come through here, and go to the various countries where they are being shipped off, and so I feel like the issue is a real issue for us here in Kenya."
