AUSTRALIA: MAN WINS ON SCRATCH CARDS TWICE

Story

A truck driver who came back from the dead after a
heart attack has had an extraordinary run of luck, winning a
car and 250 thousand dollars on scratch and win cards, just
two weeks apart.

Last year Bill Morgan was pronounced clinically dead
for more than 14 minutes. This year he is celebrating a run of
extraordinary luck.

Bill Morgan already considered himself a very lucky man.

He had survived a massive heart attack, come out of a 12
day coma with all his facilities intact, and exactly one year
after the heart attack he had proposed to the girl of his
dreams Lisa Wella , who said yes.

Two weeks ago he went down to the local Newsagent and
bought the last five dollar scratch lottery ticket that they
had, and won a AUS.Dollar 26,000 ( USD 17 thousand ) car.

A local TV station was so impressed with his run of luck
that they decided to re- enact his scratching of the winning
lottery ticket.

This time , in front of the rolling camera's , Morgan
scratched another winning card, for a quarter of a million
Australian dollars.( USD 170 thousand ).

For a man who last year lived in a caravan, the sudden
windfall inspired dreams of a new house he wants to share with
his fiancé, Lisa Wells.

Wells couldn't believe the win until she saw Morgan and
the scratch card for herself.

This chain of events is testimony to dramatically
changing fortunes of Morgan, 37, a driver who was crushed in
an accident 12 months ago.

Morgan suffered a massive heart attack and was
clinically dead for more than fourteen minutes.

He slipped into a coma for 12 days and his family was
advised to turn off his life support.

But Morgan survived, and emerged from his coma , with
all of his facilities intact, to embark on an unbelievable
year of good fortune.

Not only did he survive the heart attack, but he went on
to meet the girl of his dreams, land a new job, and win not
one but two lotteries.

After such extraordinary luck, Morgan is giving up the
scratch cards. His only wish now is for continuing health and
happiness with his future bride.
