Story:

To help meet the costs of the Games, organisers need to raise tens of millions of pounds from merchandising alone. The first official Olympic shop opened for business on Tuesday 27 July 2010 at St Pancras Station. The success of the Games will also depend on the free services of 70,000 volunteers so crucial that Sebastian Coe has dubbed them the 'Games Makers'. Read more
