• British Pathe

  1896 - 1970s

  

  Arguably the world's most prestigious newsreel archive, this collection includes footage of 20th Century events, lifestyle, famous faces, trends, fashion, travel, science and culture. The entire archive has been fully re-mastered, digitised, and is available to view online.

• Channel 4

  1982 - Today

  

  This premium archive includes clips from programmes produced for Channel 4, E4 and Channel 4 Learning since 1982. The range of programming includes science, history, drama, showbiz, culture, comedy, the natural world and much more. Clips from FilmFour's superb movie portfolio are also available.

• Fox Movietone

  1919 - 1963

  

  The Fox Movietone Newsreel was distributed to more cinemas than all the other newsreels put together in its heyday and was famous for its incredible 'scoops'.

  The Fox News Archive contains material from the Fox News Channel. The Fox News Channel is now the most popular cable news station in the USA, with a global reputation for fast and effective 24 hour news coverage.

• Granada

  1950s - Today

  

  The Granada archive contains some of the most iconic television ever produced, spanning over 40 years of Granada's distinguished history. The content includes exclusive footage of Martin Luther King in the UK, the Beatles playing in the Cavern, the Sex Pistols performing 'Anarchy in the UK', and film of the endangered Blue Whale. • Images of War

  The Images of War archive comprises more than 200 hours of premium war footage from France, Britain, USA and Germany. The collection is particularly rich in World War II material and includes unique colour footage of the war and of the entire Nazi era. Footage from over 30 hours of Deutsche Wochenschau, the official Nazi newsreel, is included.

• Sam Silver

  1930s - 1990s

  

  Sam Silver was a prolific amateur film-maker who travelled everywhere with his camera from the 1930s to the 1990s. His legacy is a treasure trove of rare footage. Includes the famous 1981 interview with Ronnie Biggs in Rio; colour film of London in WWII; and George Best and Manchester Utd in LA in the 1960s.
